The windows on my old car will not roll up… they rolled all the way down when I did not want them to!! It’s electronic – so I don’t know how to get them back up ?? Is broken
They have done it before, but they have always eventually gonna back up
Ugh … so I had to drive all the way to work with both windows completely open… with smoke 😝 … and they are still open…
I have the car parked out back behind the gate… and I have the security camera back there fixed on my car, so I can keep an eye on

That was a fun drive on 4 highways!! NOT!
Also… they tell me I am working at ugly walls – I get there and the other girl is there … I said what you doing here?
I’m supposed to be at mine – I am so confused – they changing things constantly… I don’t know where I’m supposed to be!!
Well anyway – there was a death call she had to give to me anyway… so I took that.
I was waiting to call family because happened in middle of night last night… I was letting them kinda wake up and be ok before I called…
But they called me first. Now I am waiting for them to call me back to schedule them to come in.
We talked about the fires and all that… kinda hard not to with the smoke (and the ash from earlier this week!)
They were talking about the thunder and lightening and how it was that night… house shaking!!
I have nothing to report on that currently – same stuff. Fires still going on, still have smoke… maybe more lightening igniting more fires – expected Sunday through Tuesday – hopefully they wrong. 🙏 I’m good, no more
So whatever – when there is change or something new to report – I will say.

Oldest is excited with his business adventures – so he just tells me all about… I just listen.
They had brought 2 games … dungeons and dragons 🤨🙄😄 … Oh my god! They are gonna make me play that!!
But we didn’t get to it tonight… instead oldest had a Japanese game… he is just so into Japanese everything!!! Lol
I found this one REALLY confusing!! Had no idea what I was doing… but I had cards that said attack so I just constantly played the attack cards or cards that would make him not be able to move forward or advance – lol
Literally had no clue what exactly I was doing… but I won… so that worked out for me lol ✌️😄 woo hoo!!
I didn’t really like it, because I prefer to know what I am doing… but normally I lose all his Japanese games cause he is an ace at those…
I expected to lose this game also, but somehow I did not!! Bonus for me!! I win lol
Is a 2 player game and he told me it would be quick – it was not quick lol
And also… he likes to completely try to explain how to play to me…
He is very serious when explaining these games …
It reminds me of when someone tries to give me directions… don’t do that… you are just wasting your breath… just gimme the address and I will GPS it… I do not do well with directions and it would end up worse. Just the address please. Way better
With games … I do need explanations – cause he picks games I am just so confused with… he will be all excited about and then explain all seriously … I pay attention but then there is so much I’m supposed to know for these games …
Let’s just play, and as we go along the first time… you can explain as it progresses… way better and way more clear.
He just likes to explain everything first lol… so I just listen and kinda start to lose interest…
This game was just a little hard at first… is just not my typical type. He is very excited with Japanese games lol… he lights up, so I like that.
After he went through his entire VERY serious explanation of game play (lol)… I said let’s just play and we can learn as we go along for the first time
I kinda got it – but not truly. Enough to win, so good enough lol … maybe I got lucky… I just kept attacking his life points til he had no more … my final blow was using a card that made him discard 3 cards – and then be penalized and took his final life piece lol.
What I understood was without life pieces – I could win… so I went after that lol ✌️ that was my focus … I protected mine and went after his. And I won… so that worked lol ❤️ I never win Japanese games against him… so in that aspect – pretty cool game lol ✌️
Then we talked about daughters school. And how that went.
And instead of dungeons and dragons – I hurried up and put on a comedian that caught their attention ❤️😄
Ugh they are gonna make me play that game… I am trying to avoid lol… tonight I used distraction… but the gig is up… they will probably make me play next week.
That just does not interest me!! At all… but they want me to try and say I will love it 🤨 … I dunno. They try to convince me. They say is funny – but I dunno? It’s a story game
They tell me is like those choose your own adventure books I loved as a kid 🤨… I don’t think so??
But I will try… I just didn’t want to after the Japanese game. And it was late… I think that DD game takes a long time
They are all excited to get me to play so next week that will be the game. We shall see how that goes.
Then… 18… we had a discussion cause his eating habits with salt are not good… or processed food… so I tell him to be careful…
He is 18… thinks he’s invincible … said he will worry when he has issues and also said having issues is part of getting old 🤨
I try to tell him we want to prevent that so he does not die early
But again when you young… that’s not on your mind. He wants to be 18 and invincible. He just worries me. I don’t want to lose him because of salt and processed foods
So anyway… no one is invincible … but 18 thinks he is or that he will worry about later when he has to 😮🤨
I guess… but I would like him to stay healthy and not have issues. It’s a mom thing
Anyway we laughed a lot … even 18 was laughing at the comedian ❤️

I don’t have to be on call anymore… I like that – I don’t like being on call… I always worry someone will die, and I don’t want that on my watch.
So I am happy about that.
Whoever is on call… will handle ALL 3 funeral homes 😳😮 … I am VERY happy NOT to have to do that anymore!!!!

My phone messages me with things… it messaged me today saying from Sunday morning at 11am until Tuesday morning… we are set to possibly have more dry lightening … fricken really??
It said we are going to be under a fire watch (due to possible dry lightening) & red flag warnings (red flag is due to heat and winds) What is going on???

This was a freak thing… we do have fires every single summer – but this started ALL at once… from that lightening storm we had at the beginning of the week and it just set it all off… we had those really high temps taking out any moisture… and then boom lightening ⚡️… we have ignition! 😮
My area is still ok… we are still safe… we don’t go out cause it hurts your eyes and your throat, hard to breathe.
We are not having evacuations in my area and there is no fire coming over the hills here… we are surrounded but still in a safe area. Just like I said, really smoky! All dirty orange Armageddon type sky.
Smoke is heavy in my area, still raining ash… temps are lower … only 97 today (aka 36) … way better than those temps over 100!!! So that helps a little.
You can’t really go out because of the smoke… we have horrific air quality right now… it burns your eyes and your throat… the smoke is settled here. Sky is still that smoky orange color
The fire closest to me … they downgraded the evacuations to the south to only warnings – I am south of that fire.
We do still have a TON of fires surrounding us … what is happening is all these little tiny fires are joining together and creating massive fires!!
All the smoke and ash come to my area because they are in every direction!

You just really can’t breathe out there. I have everything locked down so the smoke or ash doesn’t get in the house. The smoke is literally sitting on us now!
I did not go out at all… today was the first day of school for my daughter… 8th grade (13)
All online. “Distance Learning” no in person classes… I am glad we didn’t have to be out in this, it is not good for lungs!!
You get headaches and problems breathing in that smoke.
Anyway… I was REALLY impressed with how the school is handling this year!! I am a big critic cause the end of last year was just a BIG bumbling mess!!!!!!
This year they put time and effort into it… like I said, I am impressed.
Today and tomorrow are special schedules for the first days of school… to make sure we all connected and it goes well. Work on any issues.
The kids will strictly follow the same bell schedule as if they were actually in school… even the times changing classes are accommodated. (She grabs snacks during that time lol)
They are using google meet to come together … and then other programs to work with… it went REALLY well!!
The only one issue I had was caused by ME lol …
This is a day off for me… I don’t get many of those at all… so … ok I’m a little embarrassed to say lol… but I stayed in underwear and tank top all day long!
In my defense – it was a day off and too Smokey to go out… I just wanted to chill!!!
Most of the day was completely fine… and I wasn’t even thinking I was in a tank top and panties … I just didn’t think!!! No ones gonna see me…
I had to go into the kitchen… she is at the table doing school … the minute I walked in – was the minute I remembered what I had on 😳😳😳😳

Again – every year, every summer… is like this… “this year” just has a lot more fires all at the same time … but is nothing new.

I have been in training for the last 3 years to handle bad things… so ya know… doesn’t really worry me too much. I am used to summer fires.
Also we are prepared – we do have a bag packed just incase we have to get the hell out… which I doubt – I highly doubt. I DO take precautions and prepare lol ✌️
But like I said… others are losing their lives right now, and their homes, and animals/wildlife 😔… we are fine… we are still at home… and no evacuation orders for us right now. We are safe and well.

We had a really wet wet spring late into the season – which makes growth… then you have the low humidity and the massive heat that we have had… killing all that vegetation … and then you get a tinder box.
We had that lightening, which lit it up evidentially.
I would only be scared if blocks/traps our road out – but I will keep eye on… I know the fires are there – with the exception of sleeping … I will make sure we leave if anything got too dangerous. I would probably leave before they even evacuate.
Maybe my boss would let us stay at the haunted mansion? Lol …I would definitely ask… I don’t think would be a problem due to situation – so it will be fine either way. I could definitely open up for them lol (they have a whole living quarters there – showers, kitchen etc)
It would be an option. Given circumstances – I do have a few options, should we need them… many others do not… also… if I lose everything – not a big deal – I’ve started from scratch already – I can do it again. Is only possessions – not our life. I’ve done it before – I’ll do it again.
I also have amazing people – “earth angels” – in my life ❤️ so we be ok.

We have Jewish burial tmrw so we had to prep the room for the Rabbi tmrw. All ready to go! To wash the body – wrap in shroud – place in the plain wooden box casket. It is Jewish who use the holy dirt from the holy land. All of it is ready to go very smoothly. Everything lined up and ready! You have to be fast with Jewish – there is a time limit. You have a deadline. Once we take care of the legal part from the state – then it’s on and moves really fast!!

Today I went to the new job, which isn’t the new job just yet… they wanted me to come in and see how I did on the phones… I did pretty well!
I was nervous at first… but then melted right in and zipped through that.

Also she still had not called my references yet 😮 she said she would do that today. Or try to.

So after trying out the new job for a few hours – after I got out, I took the car to a car wash, cause omg it was dusty!! It was black (which I really loved… it’s very sleek) and I live in the country… that was dust magnet!! So I got it washed and filled the tank back up …
Then I came home to change before returning it, cause I was all dressed up … it’s hot still… I hate wearing so much, cause I feel like I am dying of heat like that!!! I just want shorts and a tank top!!! That’s it!
My neighbor had said she would pick me up from the rental place… this is the woman with the husband who is always social and out and about lol
I am excited to meet her finally!
She is like me! Quiet, keeps to self … things like that – we have a lot in common I didn’t know!! I like her!!! A lot actually.

California is night and day from Alaska seriously!!! She was telling me at times of the year… she did not know all day or all night was not normal 😮

I didn’t used to be that way. That happened immediately following fighting for that surgery … now I am just quiet – kinda tired from all the trauma that went on, and was kinda traumatized by everything. I find peace in the silence… so for now – I do that.
Once I handle and get through things – then maybe ? We see … I like the peace a lot. And ya know, just protective.
Anyway… she followed me to rental place and then took me home. I like her. She’s really nice. She has the same quiet demeanor I do. I felt comfortable with her, because she was so similar.
Her husband is very kind and VERY outgoing and social. I kinda take time to absorb, and I’m just quiet right now.
She is more like me, so I can handle that easier.
Well she is similar in her silence? But she met her husband on Tinder 😮 that surprised me!! I thought Tinder was just totally something else
In my personal life I am quiet … In my work life I am not lol … funny how that is? I separate the 2 completely.
Work I can be outgoing… my own life I am way more on guard and protective. I do keep both those worlds separate.
With work – I have no fear … with my actual life… I do. So I just handle my personal life with extreme care and caution. Still a little traumatized by things so just makes me protective.
