Let’s just start from the beginning. I talked to my staff member yesterday and I say – “ya know this is appreciation for American workers and I appreciate you. Let’s have a destress weekend – take it easy and then we pound the week” 😉

She agreed and we doing that yesterday. I only did 4.5 hours yesterday but I have no had day off since who knows when??

We worked like dogs 🤨 so is Labor Day and I’m gonna appreciate myself and my workers ❤️ we work very hard and they amazing and stand beside me ❤️ so fuck yeah

So I text my coworker last night and I say “hey, so what size shoe you wear? Cause I forgot all my shoes and I need at least some flip flops or something other than knee high black boots!! I do not want to invite any trouble!!!”

She laughed and said she would bring me some shoes today… she brought me flip flops 🩴 lol – way better and less sexy than those black boots 😮

But that wasn’t before my boss called because tables had not been delivered over weekend so… I handled and got delivered IMMEDIATELY!! … but looking like that with the black knee highs … my legs are long already – it’s bad and then with shorts – but I did not expect to see anyone!! And I was gonna have flip flops eventually … Lol but of course I see people

And then that family came in – but they were in tank tops and shorts … only I looked weird with the stupid boots omg those boots

They laughed ☺️ But still!!

And then we only supposed to work til noon and I would have kept working – but my boss was like what are you doing? Let’s go have a drink 😮

Well alright then. 😮 so I wrapped it up I was there early … said happy weekend see you tmrw to coworker… and I left.

My boss was in my parking lot already lol … and then came in my car. 😮 I did not expect that but ok

And then we just gonna go have a drink or something but nothing we know was open.

So I said well we can go to my hotel room and just sit quietly without people there lol (I had my relaxing clothes on – if I went out in that… it would be all bad!! And I was with boss – I definitely do not want to be hit on around my boss nope!

So we stop at grocery store and got what wanted. I swung back by my location to get bosses car… and then my boss followed me.

Lol the hotel is awesome but the area not so much lol… but is Sacramento – certain areas are not great. Some are – some are not and the homeless issue is HUGE HUGE HUGE!!!

My boss says “uhhh you sure you ok here, did you see what we drove through?” Lol

It’s safe – they have amazing security here ❤️ is well kept. is just Sacramento

So then we just de-stressing talking about what happened today – my boss had a HUGE service and it was really difficult! So just venting about everything. And then chattering about stuff

We laughed and laughed lol

My boss told me how stressful it is and the pressure is under. I say “you have us – if we can help – just ask”

My boss told me some serious things.

I also told boss things – like someone trying to poach… but I didn’t respond and boss said – respond – keep your options open! They will treat you good. 😮

And then we speak on personal levels and just you know life.

Boss just needed a minute of self care – I said that – I said “be careful – remember self care! Take a minute to breathe sometimes because you are gonna burn out”

And my boss said “ I already am” 😮

I am hourly so when I over work … I get overtime

But boss is salaried so boss salaried for 40 hours … yet works constantly like rest of us

No overtime or anything for boss

The job is demanding and we trying to take care of our families the best we can

It’s just a job you can kill yourself for… so be careful

All of us are thoughtful and caring so. It is us… not the corporation. But to them we all expendable

My boss said would make sure we all get raises for how hard we work… but we see – my boss can say that – but whether or not corporate will do is another thing.

I have not had a moment like that to sit with boss and go over everything – was really good!!

My boss said next time you do this (the hotel thing) do closer to my house and you come for dinner.

My boss stayed from 3pm to 6pm … my boss bought dinner 🙌 I did ask what I owed and boss said no no

I decided since was holiday weekend and we crazy currently… plus is Labor Day weekend and people be drinking – I don’t wanna be on the road.

So I am not sure because my boss is also guarded like me. I like to melt into peace and awesome things for self care – I will have to tell my boss how to do this lol … my boss just doesn’t know – I will teach lol

Mostly written from last night- but I didn’t get home til 9:30… I worked until 6pm and then ran all my errands after work, because I work so much. 😉 have to fit in somewhere. So I was too exhausted – I don’t even remember falling asleep 😮😳

I keep forgetting this is holiday weekend – it is not holiday weekend for me. I am just gonna work straight through. Maybe.

I am in thought tonight. About many things. Work mostly, but also stupid things… I’m not sure I want to talk about them? I want to, but also not, because I am exhausted from things.

So I’m gonna say few things people probably won’t like… but just opinion that’s all… whatever – just saying…

I see why we are not going to find workers very easily – because these people are only applying in order to continue to get unemployment. They have to apply to “so many” jobs per week to keep receiving their checks.

They make more money staying home than they do to work. Welcome to the United States

Everyone has to fight about everything over here… every single thing is a fight!!

Texas is contradicting itself… you want the right to decide if you want a vaccine or to wear a mask – but then you want to take away a woman’s right to choose? That makes no sense. She does remind me of my mom a lot. She’s a story teller ❤️ just like me… and she’s funny and the sweetest thing. She’s polite and has manners and is kind and thoughtful

Very sweet woman. She also has a heart that feels the same as mine and I have no idea how to explain that?? Both outwards and in?

It’s just weird. Because I have these odd things identical to her 😮 not usual things you have in common with people 😮

So … I am very intrigued by her because she does remind me of my mother. And then with the coincidences with ME 😮

I keep myself busy so I do not have to feel pain or have bad things. Some people turn to drinking – I turned to working ✌️

With my mom 💔 …I don’t want to talk about it because it already makes me have tears just starting that sentence 💔

So ya know… then there is suddenly this woman, who reminds me of my mother, and has crazy things in common with me… is weird – it has my attention.

Like when I show him these 2 HUGE built in refrigeration units that have not been in use for years and years … he ask if someone in there – I said “eh maybe …let’s have a look” lol I knew there wasn’t lol – but I quickly open door and he is more slow and cautious – but I am not afraid and is my territory lol

He’s not sure if he should believe me or not, so it’s really funny. Remember I have a playful twinkle ✨✌️😘

So anyway… he’s looking at everything and I am taking him everywhere … lol … the place is HUGE

And there’s this fridge from the 1960’s?? Never been used – users manual still sits fresh inside 😮❤️ it’s beautiful ❤️ my heart thumps to see it because it’s frozen in time ❤️

Anyway – he was just as wow’ed with it as I am 🙌❤️

Then I had to take him in back room … now I am used to seeing funeral things so those things do not phase me? Lol

But there was casket ⚰️ in there so he jumps and says “OH My! Is someone in there?” He asked me that with every urn ⚱️ lol

I have a locked cabinet with remains going back to families. They are not on display unless service.

But he jumped with casket which made me smile 😄

Sometimes families do not want any of the caskets we offer … so they will order from a 3rd party vendor and we receive them at Funeral home – they come like FORT KNOXX. 😮 …they are bubble wrapped and shrink wrapped upon arrival lol – we just got that one, so it was not unwrapped yet.

I just laughed and said it is shrink wrapped too tightly … we haven’t unwrapped it yet lol – you can’t get someone in there yet lol

Plus I have doors that go into kinda “spooky” unused rooms – I don’t like to go in those lol… I opened the door – he shined in his flashlight and ok good lol

That’s not all from today… I had the phones to my cell phone for awhile today because I was with fire inspector

I got a work call on my way home … I answered the phone with funeral home name, my name and how can I help you?

So I started to help them. As I am talking with them… OMG 😳 coincidence after coincidence

A few is funny haha… but literally everything said was parallel to MY life!!

They said to me – I knew it was meant to be when YOU answered the phone 😮

They also said – I know you are not overly young, no offense, but I can tell in your voice you are 40’s or 50’s …

They said because I have a maturity to my voice and the way I speak.

They are my parents age – but we clicked 😮 it was insane the coincidences 😮😮😮

Like you know in life for some reason someone comes into your life and a time they are supposed to?

Whether it be something you can do for them, or maybe you need them and don’t know that yet?

Everything was a coincidence and I don’t usually run into people with that much like me!! 😮😮 almost identical
