If you are a transplant from a cold state … you usually don’t like winter 😄 ..people from Massachusetts usually retire to Florida 😄 …we don’t like winter lol

Ugh I need to change the subject!!! Cause it will keep coming …

So sometimes I watch a documentary on interesting things … or if I am trying to learn something I just search whatever that is…

And then sometimes kids are here – and they will show me their shows or things lol

Well – Doby has learned what a tv is 😐… today is rainy cold and overcast, so he come to me and look at me… then looked at tv lol … so I said “you want me to turn on the tv?” … and he licked his lips – that is his yes sign 😄😄😄

So I turn the Tv on and he’s like a little old man 😄😄😄 🙄 … but he likes certain videos lol – he likes the lawn care videos 😄😄🙄

It is funny to see him want tv 😄😄 usually I have it off lol – he’s like human 😄😄 but with fur

Also – I was gifted a box and inside this box is handwritten recipes – they look like ones my grandmother or my mom would do… all their favorite recipes or things they wanted written down

Even the handwriting – it looks like my grandmothers ❤️

One day at work someone said to me – how do you write like that? I have beautiful nice legible handwriting – is nice writing ✍️ very pleasing to the eye lol …

I said I dunno? I just do why you ask, that is weird question?

They said every generation has a writing style – recently I have been seeing that lol

Anyway… I will share some … I have looked through briefly because I’m all excited 👏

Is someone around my mothers age – because there are also cut out recipes in there from McCalls 😄😄

  1. Doby liking TV reminds me of my wolfhound Dora, she loved TV! 🙂

    She was incredibly laid back, like most hounds are, so liking TV wasn’t surprising.

    My mother had truly beautiful handwriting, it’s a gift, trust me l have a scrawl that even doctors would struggle to read 🙂

    Yes roll on summer, we are now in autumn, l don’t mind this season, if we are lucky we’ll not have a wet winter … if lucky 🙂

      Mine is not very laid back – just when he wants tv but even then he gets all into it lol

      Most of the people I work with or have interaction with write badly lol 🤷‍♀️

      Funeral people and doctors currently don’t usually write nicely or legible lol … but I do… I fill out most things and for cards they usually ask me to do lol – also our boards – where we keep track of cases – I do that mostly

      I believe we are in autumn already – but I’m not really sure cause this year follows no weather rules 🤷‍♀️😄

      Oh please let winter have some mercy 🙏

        For us – January was insane crazy – every day was an atmospheric river (and that was new weather wording I had never heard before)

        Spring went EXTRA LONG

        Summer was very mild for us with heat – yes we were hot and over 100 – but usually we are still that way

        But rain has appeared and lower temps – bringing fall early 😩

        My summer was basically July – little tiny bit of August

        My summer is never that little 😮😮

        I am not prepared and ready for fall/winter 😩 so I hope it has some mercy

        Weather has thrown me off track from my normal weather routine 😮

        What has your weather year been like – I know you had lots of heat and rain lol

        I’m just kidding – we are weird too?

        January was insane – winter in one month – everyday!! Was awful

        Then winter tried to hang on forever and we didn’t start our summer until July 😮

        And that went through maybe 3rd week in August! So what is that?? ..just a little bit over a month and a half of summer and that’s it!!! We had zero fires 🔥 😮 zero

        Now it seems to possibly be Autumn 🤷‍♀️

        I did not have enough summer to last me the winter lol 😩

        I think that heat went through the United States for the month and a half we had of summer? lol 🤷‍♀️

      9. Yes the humidity is the killer. Normally l can love the heat, but the humiditoies in the last ten years alone are a nightmare to content with. Typical British heats at the start of say 2000 were very different very British. A high back then would have been a 21 with the occasional 23. For those who think climate change isn’t a thing well, what can you say?

      10. Well I kinda feel like no one paid attention in history class? 🤷‍♀️

        Of course there is climate change – the earth does this

        But since 1850 you have had a massive boom in industrial emissions… population booms… and things like that

        So we are advancing it faster – we do not want the heat of the Jurassic period 😮 Antarctica will have no ice

        It will take centuries to fix and there is no fix all

        But I feel like no one paid attention in history or science 🤷‍♀️or they just don’t care?

        Mother Nature will correct it if we don’t – and you probably don’t want that 😳😮 … we see what she can do 😳

    1. Well 😄😄… I will post most of the recipes but … I will only try a select few

      The rest be for others or just to have since they meant something to someone – some seem like old family recipes 🫶

      They have alot of seafood recipes which is not for me – but maybe for others

      I am taking easy today – my belly kinda hurts today. But I am enjoy the day ❤️👏
