Ok so reminders for me on this post … Spider-Man… daughter… and heavy… so let’s just start with the heavy and end with the fun and adorable ❤️✌️

I have a question for people of all ages … so …

If you could have a quote for yourself about how you live or view life, what would you chose?

Really think – what would represent how you wish to look at or live life – in just a quote?

I am asking just to see what people say.

I had heavy day – so I am curious…

Ok let’s move on to the stuff that is funny cause that helps…

Let’s start with Spider-Man … there is this stubborn ass spider who I am sort of allowing shelter in my garage 🤨

I’m not really allowing it – but reluctantly I am lol ✌️

Every few days I go out there and he has built him self a web

So … I tear it down – I have not killed 🕷️ him or made him leave … but mainly because I never know where he is… just the web always returns 🤨

And most of the summer – I take down the web… and he puts it back up lol

And then lastly … my baby went back to school today – first day of Junior year …

I took photos and so did she …

Our photos tell the story of the day 😄😄 … I can’t share them due to privacy reasons – but … I can tell you about them…

The first photo I took was her right before school… she looks not happy to have to go back to school

Her this morning 👉🧟‍♀️

Then midday she text me with a photo of her and one of her best friends at a boba shop during a free period – and nothing but smiles and 🧋 boba

Look there is even an emoji for “boba” 🧋😄😄

And then, we got home … I had not even cooked dinner yet… but by 6pm – little woman was down for count 😄😄❤️ it was adorable 🥰 my baby ❤️

I will be back over weekend unless I can make back sooner – but I am also exhausted and today is last day of over 100 degree temps – omg it has been so hot hot hot – but knock on wood – no fires for us ❤️🙏

The heat has been sooooooooo draining – it’s like an oven and there has been humidity 😮 but I do still dread winter – I prefer the heat – I don’t like freezing

I have to be up so very early to get her to school and things omg … ugh I miss summer! That was too short!!! I want July again 🙏

Ok I have to sleep also – like mother – like daughter

Oh one more thing – whoever has the job of city planner in my town – needs to be fired!! Don’t go anywhere near any schools during release time 😬

  2. OMG, the school traffic! When I drove to the chiro there was a line 3 blocks long, on a main street, to pick up high schoolers and all I could think was THEY CAN WALK!! (safe area; no long distances to schools) Hell, of nothing else, WALK TO YOUR WAITING PARENT! But noooo…
    And then the parents drove like loons..
    No signals, no predictability…

    The school across from me doesn’t restart till the 30th. I’ll need to remember to keep cats indoors – they’ve forgotten about 2:30-3:15 traffic!

    I hope your week finishes well! We’re supposed to get heavy rain sun/mon but it’ll probably end up missing my area.

    1. Ugh 😩… that school traffic is just terrible… ugh 😩

      I want busses reinstated cause this is awful and the strain it puts on working single parents

      Yesterday it took me an hour to get her!! Ugh 😩 I do funerals and that is very hard!!

      Also??? I’m not sure where these parents get their driving skills but they suck!! Omg

      It’s a mess – not planned properly!! They can’t even control – too many schools and too much traffic

      I said to daughter – can you just walk to Starbucks and I’ll pick you up there? Cause there is one right by her school…

      And she says “mum not in this heat”

      Ugh ok fine 😩

      I am on her to get license – she is dragging her feet with that!! Woman cmon!!!

      Parent traffic is THE WORST traffic known to man!! They have no brains when getting their child!!

      They need to bring busses back severely!!! They are going to have to do that – they don’t plan schools right and there is huge congestion – they don’t have enough police to place at every school and it’s a mad house!! It’s ridiculous!!

      Ohhhh yeah I heard about the hurricane 🌀 getting ready to hit you this weekend 😮 I meant to come ask you about that!! Lol “Hilary”

      Be careful they saying significant flooding 😮

      None of that for us up here

      Hope is ok – will be nice to have rain though as long as flooding is not bad 🙏

      When is supposed to hit your area? Sunday ?

        Storm timing keeps changing so it’s still Sun or Mon. World News said some areas may get a year’s rain in 24hrs. The last projection I saw was mild rain in my area, direct hit on Palm Springs.

      7. I think might by pass your area… maybe some rains and winds for you – but no direct hit

        I hear San Diego County already declared state of emergency to be ready for the hit

        When that area is effected it should only be a tropical storm hopefully

        But that’s exciting 👏 I’m jealous – is expected to miss us entirely 😩 I like summer storms

        I hate winter ones!!

    1. MASSIVE improvement – but they don’t listen

      My town just got in trouble for misappropriating funds and now have to raise prices and probably taxes

      They don’t listen at all and do sneaky underhanded things

      But ya know – is the world so whatever – the way it is.

      So I just gripe lol ✌️

  4. I don’t have a special quote.. but sometimes I remember this one “Be the change you want to see in the world.”

    So if I have a problem with somebody or something, rather than expecting a solution from them or by nature, I would put myself in the middle and do it myself. Saves time and projects me to the others on what they should do next time something like this happens

    1. That is one of my favorite quotes ❤️👏 because yes 🙌

      If I have a problem, I am lucky to have people that I can freely say my issues to, and we work together for solution. ❤️👏

      You have to be careful here in America because if you do it all yourself – they think “oh good I don’t have to do this” and then you do everything and burn out

      AND- you also have to remember “not everyone has same heart as you”… while you are a thoughtful, kind, peaceful person – not everyone is.

      But that is one of my favorite quotes❤️👏 – because I do believe that one moment of impact with someone can change a life …

      That’s also why people don’t truly die… because they carry on in the lives of those who’s lives they have impacted 😊❤️ it trickles because maybe that person impacts another because of the impact they remember

      So technically we live forever 😉❤️

      Is the way we treat others … the humanity shown

      And also teaching moments are awesome too…

      2. Lol … for me… I remember being a really young kid and my mom being like “ok nap time” 😄😄

        But I was never tired 😄✌️

        I would never fall asleep – didn’t wanna miss a thing lol

        And now, oh how I wish to hear someone say “ok nap time” TO ME …and mean it lol ✌️😘
