Alright … so… I think I would like to change something – so I think I will aim to do that. I think it’s time for me to do that.

Because of all the incredible work like that … that he and Suze make better ❤️ all while having their own worm farm business and composting and growing food … you should take a look – it’s quite interesting to see!!

You could totally do a convent lol … but I do imagine it filled with worm containers lol …in neat carefully planned sections 😄😄 ✌️❤️

Because … he speaks so brilliantly about old traditions or beliefs, old ways… the way people once lived, their tales lol … wonderful historical record – will make you imagine the time period

It does remind me because of being France, even though this place is far away … but that architecture is beautiful and what a beautiful convent

They said was owned by aging nuns who could no longer care for it! But imagine it in its day 😮 I can only imagine the stories or things ❤️👏

Well anyway – I like that YouTube video show ❤️👏

I do slightly cringe when tearing up things with history like that…. Obviously some changes needed … but I do like as close to original as possible

I love the story and the whole thing 😮 that is sooo cool and genius but… I was wondering one thing…

What happens when rains in winter? 😮 would flood?? Right? and what about bugs? Bees 🐝 mosquitoes 🦟- snakes 🐍 , animals? What would downsides be ?

But the whole thing is brilliant since long summers and heat – how genius he was and I love the architecture influence and his knowledge ❤️

And look what he build 😮 by self … by hand 😮

And he figured out how to make his land work for him 👏 brilliant for his time – that’s awesome ❤️

I got side tracked with that tonight – but also helped to take away my mind from over thinking the sign I saw 😮

    The convent vid was too long for me – I saw the improvements. Did they keep it or sell for major $$

    The Fresno place… there’s gotta be info online. I’d worry about tarantulas liking the coolness. Can’t imagine how it handled the rare flashfloods.

      I think they mean to keep it? But I’m not sure? Just discovered

      I have never known about the Fresno place… as a kid I lived around that area for minute… I had never even heard of or knew was there 😮

      Usually we would go to all the historical and interesting places

      But I never knew or saw that 😮

      1. Ditto on Fresno – I can’t believe we never went to that. The rescue group Cats House On Kings is near there. If I ever attend an open house, I should add that tour to my day.

  2. It’s a CA Historic Landmark. Tours are $23/adult. Abd it sats this about weatger:

    grounds must be dry enough to walk on with no substantial rain hitting the area. Tours could be canceled and schedules changed without notice, which may be the case due to an overnight rain storm, successive days of rain, or rain showers during the hours of operation

      1. I can’t believe that I couldn’t find much more info about rain. Only that the ‘sky lights’ would be covered with glass. Nothing about the rain that got in through the big garden areas.

        I don’t recall Fresno getting much rain but still….

      2. I lived for a minute in Visalia – not too far from Fresno

        We had massive massive pea soup fog 🌫️ alot… it did rain sometimes… but was nothing like this year like we had up here

        I don’t know how Fresno faired this year?? Cause all weather is crazy at moment everywhere seemingly

        I just saw South America supposed to be in winter but they are over 100 😮

        So could be alot of rain in some winter moments?

      3. I don’t think anyone knows what to expect from weather anymore!

        I know tule fog well! My godparents lived in Merced. A high school friend was, last I heard, a pig farmer in Visalia.

      4. Oh the thickest fog!! They would cancel school due to fog – which was awesome!! 👏👏👏

        It would burn off eventually and we would have awesome free day off lol

  4. What wonderful projects 🙂

    I have two projects – much smaller scale – like these, two restoration projects – a walled courtyard garden and a town garden – one to restore back to rewilding and the other to restore a memory 🙂
