So far … best week/month ever ❤️

Knock on wood 🚪 ✊

I worked Monday – it was calm… tried to get out early – but that didn’t happen.

None of us worked yesterday because was the 4th of July ❤️👏🫶🇺🇸❤️

Doby did really good… he had little bit of anxiety at first… but then did good because we were with him. Lol

At first he came out all scared – even in my front yard there so many people around… everyone outside lighting off fireworks BBQ’ing and having awesome time

So tons of people and fireworks lol… with the fireworks 💥 he would run up to fence and watch then run back cause he scared but he wanted to see 😄😄

He was scared at first but didn’t wanna miss anything and wanted to watch cause he doesn’t know fireworks 💥… he does now lol ❤️👏

We asked if he wanna go inside but he didn’t… like I said – he didn’t wanna miss anything and by the end, he acted like he protecting us lol 😄🫶❤️ … like it’s ok mum, I’ll protect you lol

He is STILL exhausted from last night 😄😄

Those were illegals – which were everywhere ❤️👏👏👏👏👏 sorry I just love that… I don’t do myself but I do love them popping off everywhere – on July 4th it’s everywhere ❤️🇺🇸❤️ if gonna allow fireworks… then know that this happens.

I was shocked when we moved here from Mass, cause they allow and so dry out here 😮 but whatever

Some fireworks are legal and some are not… if it shoots up in the air – the normal person is not supposed to have those lol – but they do

On July 4th I love that – sorry ❤️🫶❤️

And then here is the towns grand finale ❤️ …

Fireworks went off all night and Doby didn’t mind cause he had sooooo much stimulation 😄😄 by end of night – he paid no attention to the BOOMS 💥👏 he was too tired 😄😄

He is lazy old man today 😄😄👏 he has like no energy 😄😄😄👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️

He had the best time – that went fast

All my kids with me – we had burgers and some beef that I made yesterday … one wanted pizza 🙄 – but I know he is picky – so I had one… he doesn’t eat red meat (21)

We had wonderful holiday ❤️👏👏

I work today then I am off – 👏👏👏 yay!! Hopefully 🙏

But week is awesome getting days off 👏 … not that I am getting to anything 😮 cause so much goes on, but whatever… it’s summer ❤️🫶❤️🇺🇸

    2. Yes 👏 and we didn’t have to deal with traffic because I live nearby – enough to see like that …

      If you go to the park where they shooting off … there is food trucks and vendors with fun glow in dark things

      Also music that goes with fireworks and people ooh’ing and ahhh’ing 😄😄

      Is such spirit and community ❤️ it’s warm, good food, everyone out – it’s awesome – such spirit ❤️

      Oh yes definitely – an amazing memory to carry through when life hits hard – absolutely ❤️ also wonderful day to look forward to every year for that ❤️ no presents involved just rich moments and amazing spirit ❤️

      2. Went well – other than me freaking out at the end because I am not gonna be in for a week 😮😮 omg

        Yeah let’s not start that convo lol – that makes me nervous

        You have no idea how fast things happen in the funeral business lol

        You blink and it’s different – my first time just simply stepping away for break 😮😮

        So yeah, let’s not freak me out lol

        They will be fine – is in good hands … I am just weird

        They amazing and it’s only a week 😊 🙏

        But also when I step away – this is how I leave it … one week can be a lot of things 😮😮😮 and you could walk back into who knows what – cause it can be like that 😮

        Will take a minute for re- entry lol … but you jump right back in

        A week is ALOT that could happen lol

        I am not out of work mode yet lol … but I have satan coming too… so… after 12 noon it be better

        I be in vaca mode then. I might get stuck there – who knows 🤷‍♀️

        One of my girls is meeting me afterwards, and we going to a vegan restaurant and gonna take my mind away ❤️

        So after – yes I will mind dump 🙏🙏 as long as isn’t too bad 🙏🙏 I get beat up a lot with this – but should be ok cause I have all my people ❤️ – my village ❤️

      9. Ya know what? I may have to just make that a breakfast!! Omg … how have I not been doing this all my life?

        This morning I opened the fridge and there it was – how you gonna resist that? And who gonna tell me no? ❤️✌️

        Plus made me feel better before handling satan things.

        And then now I’m on complete vacation mode 😮 went ok and I had a wonderful afternoon with one of my girls ❤️ I love her, she is amazing 👏

        She always wants to make sure I’m ok and wants me to feel supported ❤️

        We had wonderful happy afternoon ❤️

        Now I am hot, pinky, tired & on vacation ☀️ 🌴 🧖‍♀️ ❤️

        I’m pretty sure it was all because of having chocolate cake for breakfast – seems very logical

        Before I have healthy but I nervous and upset

        I have chocolate cake – the world is better lol

        So 🤷‍♀️ pretty sure

  3. Pro fireworks are tolerable compared to the explosive mortars we get here (you hear a fwooosh (shooting off)… pause… BOOOM). ALL fireworks are illegal here, and almost every surrounding city.

    Glad you, the fam, and Doby had fun.

    1. I am definite judge on good firework show … better be 30 minutes or more and be awesome

      I have seen little itty bitty ones 🙄 maybe 15 minutes and boring

      We have the main city fireworks and they do illegals here too 👏 … I just like the fireworks

      I would try a drone show – but again better be really good to compete with the level of awesomeness – must be impressive – I will judge lol ✌️

      1. I’ve always got the nightly D-land fireworks as a fallback. I haven’t heard them lately but prob just lack of attention. They typically start at 9:35pm.
