Still alive … was sick there for a moment, but I am ok now and back to work

Speaking of work … I was opening a savings account for something… and they wanted to know what I did for work … but instead of letting me type it… they gave me a pinwheel of choices 😮

NONE of which fit me!! There was no “admin”… there was no “manager or office”, there was no “Other”

Instead I fit several categories if they gonna do that … I picked EMT/Fire/Police lol

My reasoning was that I am a responder so I classify lol ✌️ … I am your last responder 😉

But that was after sitting there for 20 minutes debating on which one I should pick lol … none of these was perfect and there was no funeral or cemetery field choice at all!

There was also social worker … yes I do that too

And I do accounting 🧾 … so there was a couple good choices I had to think about what best fit, since they did not offer anything within any of my actual fields lol 🤷‍♀️ wtf?

Is like filling out forms with a special character in your name – forget it – they never let you have it 🙄

Anyway … I was sick for little while ??

And now I’m different lol 🤷‍♀️ … a new little quirk developed 😮

So randomly I was throwing up a lot – and that made me really weak … I had no fever … but was really sleepy – wasn’t Covid cause I take a ton of tests thinking maybe I did it wrong and have it? But never once positive

Wednesday Thursday and Friday I was not well – and Saturday I was iffy

Sunday and today I have been fine but taking slowly – I am behind due to being sick like that

And I’m afraid to really eat 😮 so now suddenly I don’t wanna eat anything that food makers make 😮 so … I’ve been eating REALLY simple things

So that’s new – little obsessive and nervous with food now 😮

It’s not bad yet – and it’s been holding off well …

But here comes the triple digits this weekend 😮

Thursday through Sunday all triple digits 😮 …here we go lol

In winter – I would rather hibernate – I hate winter even with triple digits on the horizon 😮 but ask me again this weekend lol ✌️😘 maybe my answer be different at 105 lol

    1. Well currently is nice not overly bad

      Just sunny so I am pinky 😮 and freckly! Lol

      We see – my first dose of triple digits this year is coming

      Hopefully all the weird weather that made all the grasses really big and now dry, don’t cause extra massive fires – and hopefully PG&E isn’t gonna cause a fire this year 🙏🙏🙏 aholes for sure!

      But yes – I will try to stay cool inside during massive heat 😮🙏 😎 ☀️

      I need to buy Doby some shoes for his little paws 🐾

      I love dogs in shoes 😄❤️ and protects their little feet 🙏 that pavement even in my back side yard can be very hot! 😮 like fire coals 😮

      But yes – bring on the heat ❤️ I like heat – but again we see …when is 105 …if I sing that same tune lol 😄😘✌️

        Talking of Doby, you can buy dog bowls that are filled with water that you put in the freezer! The normal water goes in the bowl but because the bowl is like a giant ice tray, the water stays cool for ages!! What a great idea!!

      3. I am sure you will find one as the packaging on the one I saw was predominantly in English! They struck me as a really good idea. I know you can just put an ice cube in the water but that will be no good if you are at work for seven hours! Happy hunting!

        But then I’m slow to join society – so might not be totally new 🤷‍♀️

        I was just talking to a family yesterday … they are not American and they speak another language (but also English)

        I was telling them about how my kids dream is to live in Japan lol 🙄

        Video games and anime lol … the oldest even can speak some Japanese lol AND read it 😮😮

        But I was mentioning because we have this store here – like a Japanese dollar store ?? Is called Daiso

        Omg – that store is dangerous … everything in it is ADORABLE 🥰 ❤️and they have the coolest things – you could spend hours in that store

        But I do find it funny because everything is from Japan … and I giggle when they put things in English but is not correct sayings or they say things oddly in English lol

        Everything will be in Japanese … but then the packaging will sometimes say something wrong in English – but it’s English so slap it on there lol 😄😄

        Yeah that does make me laugh a little ❤️ sometimes a lot depending on product lol ✌️

        Haha! I have not heard of that store but have seen examples of when companies slap on English text that they either ran through a very early translator or asked someone who was not sure! 😉 I have also seen such mistakes go the other way when a European insurance company was all set to open offices in Moscow until it was pointed out that their company name meant something quite specific in Russian! 😮🙊

      6. Hahaha sometimes with Chinese restaurants – their names are either funny or can be offensive here lol

        Like there is these examples… there is one called :
        FU KING CHINESE – they were forced to change name I believe lol

        And another called Soon Fatt (lol 😄)

        You have to be careful going between languages lol

        It’s a little humorous 😄😄

        Make sure you are not offending the area you are going to lol

        But I guess hard to know??

        Someone from the UK told me that a certain word over there is REALLY offensive lol

        But for us Americans is not at all and even used as a persons first name 😮 lol … the name has dropped out of popularity… I don’t think anyone uses it anymore?

        But we also have products with that in its name lol 😄

        So for us …is not something we even think of cause it’s not bad for us?

        But in the UK it is?? Lol

        There must be a million examples in all languages when they cross over to a language they are not familiar with

        Both America and UK speak English – but differently … same language but different words and sometimes different meanings 😮

        But if it’s a company – you would think they would make SURE was ok!! 😮😄😄🤷‍♀️

  2. Sorry you weren’t feeling well!! I wish being sick made me stop eating but that’s super super rare… thus my shape!!

    You’re really going triple digits already? The highest forecast for our next 7 days is 79… which means 85+… but not yet triple digits. Time for you to set up a nice ice footbath!!

    For Doby… they say that if the pavement is hot to your hand then it’s too hot for their paws.

    Reading above… you can also put out a frozen bowl of water in addition to regular… won’t last as long as the special bowls but it still provides cool water as it melts.

    I also freeze water bottles and put them around for thecats to lay against. They never do (cats/water) but I feel better giving them the option.

    1. Yup – tmrw (Thursday) is our first triple digit day of this year 😮 and through Sunday we be in triple digits – Friday and Saturday will be 105 😮😮

      Today we “only” 94

      Yeah I don’t take him out in the hot weather – is indoor toy play lol

      Doby loves ice lol – ice ice baby lol

      Ahh also good idea

      I’ve recently bought him that frosty paws 🐾 ice cream 🍨 and you should see him – I now can not say word ice cream cause he knows what that is and gets all excited – so if I am talking to kids or something, I have to spell it lol … he can’t spell yet lol

      But he loves them … I don’t get them all the time … and you only get a few so is special treat when really hot 🥵
