Do you remember there were shows to show you all the best commercials?? We hate commercials, so go ahead and make a whole show from commercials lol – and then still show commercial breaks 🤨😄😐
But was always fun to remember. We had some commercial greats ❤️
This one I had forgotten all about! 😮 … Mello Yello – check this out from 1980 😄😄 I would have been about 8. 😮
But if we talking soft drinks… this one is my favorite …
Oh yeah … I really love that commercial – and also Dr Pepper should I drink soda lol ❤️ some advertising was just brilliant

That was before I was born but I remember that commercial running through most of the 1970’s… I loved that one – it was so peaceful and nice lol … no I do not sing that while thinking of Coke lol – I just remember it ❤️ was a sweet peaceful commercial with a song ❤️
And this commercial, still makes my heart pump ❤️ he was king during this time period!
Oh I just love that commercial ❤️ how funny to see again and you just flash back!!
This next one was also brilliant … everyone knew those words and that commercial!!! I always think of that when I pass the baloney 😄 I sang it once and my daughter gave me the side eye lol
Which also reminds me of this commercial…
This one … I knew all the words … and all the girls did that hand clapping thing lol … we used that song (among others lol) Oh my god! That’s so funny!! ❤️ I still know all the words by the way… and I might possibly sing that one if I am making anything with tuna 😄 yeah I get a lot of side eyes lol ✌️
How do you not love those songs??? ❤️ brilliant advertising!! They don’t make em like they used to … Oh my god! I sound older and older every single day lol
I just add this next one cause I have a thing for the Doughboy ❤️ my mom’s dad – I called him Grampa… he had one… and it would squeak when you squeezed his belly ❤️ I loved that sooo much!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ he died before 2000 (is a sad story so let’s stay away from that one right now) but I love the Doughboy because of him ❤️
Anyway, awww to remember 🥰❤️❤️❤️

My mother had commercials like that hers was “Chiquita banana” 😄🙄😄… I also gave her side eyes back in the day lol ✌️❤️

My mom used to walk around the kitchen with bananas in her hands and wiggle around and sing that song lol…
I’m a Chiquita banana and I’m here to say…🎶 😄😄❤️ … we would side eye her but then it was so funny and cute we always laughed lol

Wow! A blast from the past! If one is of a certain age, many old commercials are stuck in our heads with their memorable slogans, jingles and catchphrases. How about: “It takes a licking and keeps on ticking” or “Where’s the beef?” or “I Can’t Believe I Ate The Whole Thing.” And songs (though you’ve covered most) how about — “I heard it through the grapevine” by the California raisins (clay animation), probably dating myself but oh well!
My favorite old commercials were: The Budweiser commercials (the Clydesdales and remember the frogs? Bud-Wei-ser!) Coke — When Mean Joe Green gives the kid his jersey in the tunnel. Fun stuff, but a little scary at the same time how advertising can stick in our head for so many years. — The trip back in time was fun! Thanks!
