Good morning ❤️
I was up early today… I had a drink yesterday and don’t usually do that… just not my thing. But she wanted to celebrate so I figured, maybe we should? For life?
But I felt that one drink lol… she made it way too strong!!! So I also figured, was a good idea not to post lol ✌️
They cancelled my friends eye surgery … said due to corona not currently doing those… so his surgery gets pushed months out now… but ya know – patience …
He said … you don’t have to take me to the hospital, so you can still come over? We can have lunch?
Lol aww… well I was gonna do that for him, bring him to hosp… but I also have my daughter. If is not taking to hosp, then I would prefer a moment when when she’s not here. So maybe another time, I get to have time with her – I don’t want to give that up ✌️❤️
He was ok with that and I said maybe in 2 weeks? He was happy with that. Will be good to see him again… haven’t seen him since I got sick. I’ve talked to him – but I haven’t seen him
I MIGHT be kinda cautious because initially it’s gonna be a thing?? If you understand? I don’t want it to be a thing – but it’s gonna be a thing. Just sensitive with still. Don’t make me cry!
But whatever – it’s gonna be a thing 🤨
I think something bit me 🤨…
I noticed it yesterday ?? It’s right above my ankle. Yesterday I saw it and thought … oh is that a bruise? Cause it looked like a bruise ? It was red and I dunno? And I don’t like to touch bruises so I didn’t wanna see if it hurt – no I will pass – it’s probably a bruise?
But today? It did not turn like a bruise 🤨😮… it’s like a redness? And then I can see a whiter raised center area… so I’m gonna think that’s a bite 🤨
Dammit – it better not be bad! Luckily is on ankle area, thank you for not biting my ass!!!
We gonna go for a walk… I shall be back. ✌️
ticks? Hope not a tick bite.

What type of eye surgery is your friend getting? (I used to work in that industry)

Well maybe a year and a half ago he had surgery for his other eye and he doing this one this time… he wears glasses 🤓… so to correct vision I believe?
He did one eye at a time because he wasn’t sure how would go? So he wouldn’t be completely blind lol

Yeah, it’s normal to do one eye at a time… but usually sooner than 1.5 yrs. If it’s just for focus, some people have one eye corrected for nearsightedness and the other for farsightedness. It takes a week it 2 to adjust but then the brain magically works out perfect vision.
Maybe he’s having cataract CV or other corrective surgery.

I think that is what he is doing… he’s like that… he cancels or can’t get there. He had some issues with the eye they did so he wanted all that better first… And then corona hit 🤨 and here we are lol
I will ask him next time I talk to him

Oh wow!! Actually in surgery?
For Halloween my daughter since last year wants to wear weirdo colored contact lenses 😝
She has brown eyes and wants to have purple 🤨😄🙄 … cause of some character she loves lol
I tell her I dunno? I’m not helping you touch your eye lol … eww sorry can not do it lol
I am squeamish with some things lol
I tell her if you learn how to do and can do yourself then do that. But don’t ask me to help lol… I can not help you lol

I worry about the quality control (rather, the lack of it) on the cheap colored lenses. Most people are fine but I’ve seen the perm damage bad ones can do.

Yeah I do not personally like the idea. She knows if not do right can cause issues… I be too squeamish with that.
She doesn’t do currently – wants for Halloween… she asked me the other day again.
Plus not really sure Halloween be a thing anymore?

And no, not in surgery. I worked for the manufacturers, testing software & hardware before release. Up to around 2005, I would say 90% of patient complications were caused by doctors not paying attention or using the machines wrong. But after that, profits became more important that patient safety and I don’t trust any of them. I started refusing to sign off on things, forcing them to go over my head to release what I knew were unsafe packages.
One of my fav moments was a release that our most prominent docs complained about immediately. After 6 months of investigation the bug was traced back to one I reported but mgmt claimed “no one would ever do that” and then closed the bug report. I’d told them for years, “If I do it, someone in the fielld is going to do it too!”

Yeah is always about money … I hope we get better with that? Not holding breath, just hope
Wow!! That doesn’t actually surprise me … I think many companies do that?

When I started in bio/med work, I loved it. Companies were intensely focus on patient safety and improving lives. Now it’s sloppy, blatantly ignoring laws, and profit-profit-profit. I left a job at a major heart valve mfgr because of the gross negligence they practiced (and told me to do too.. but I refused).

Yeah that does not surprise me at all. We have lost the care of others over the care of money – corporations get blinded and forget people

One of the news stories I’ve been following is the theory that C19 came from a Wuhan lab. Because it turns out that (1) most countries oppose the lab’s experiments, (2) US involvement with the lab was banned under Obama, (3) dotard allowed the US ban to expire, (4) Dr. Fauci is a heavy investor in the lab.
