I don’t want to get out of bed this morning lol… I got up – showered, had coffee, realized I have to go to store… so I went back into bed lol
I am delaying my functioning ✌️
When I woke up earlier, I had one blanket 🤨… I look over and there is my daughter with all the other blankets 🤨😄
When I sleep by myself… I must not move much? Or move gentle? Because the bed still looks good and it’s quick to make the bed because is still orderly.
When my daughter sleeps with me … I don’t know what exactly she does… but every single cover is crazy bunched up or tangled 🤨 you have to completely take the entire bed apart and redo the whole thing!! It’s like she does cardio in her sleep or something??
So I live on a ranch… well I guess you would call it a ranch? It’s huge acre property, fenced and gated…
The entrance has these huge rod iron gates that have the name of the ranch formed into it… my landlord picked the name of the ranch when she bought the property over 20 years ago.
The name of the ranch where I live – is called “Wits End” Lol 😄 fitting I suppose lol
It’s beautiful though ❤️🥰
I have neighbors but they are not close like normal houses. They are pretty far away
One neighbor to the left has these 2 adorable sweet little dogs – I don’t know what kind they are?? Think they are mutts? But they are adorable … and hilarious!! …
One of them is black in color… I call the black one “Bullet” … that’s not his name – but that’s what “I” call him because he is fast like a bullet!!
Sometimes when I come home from somewhere… I punch in my code for the gate to open, drive the car slowly through the gate… and start heading down my very long driveway…
If I look at my neighbors house off in the distance… sometimes, almost like a horror movie lol… I see that little black dog… I see him see me 😳… and then it’s on
Can I make it before he catches me?? So I have to floor it… cause he darts – I swear I have never seen a dog so fast in my life!!!
If I don’t make it, he runs around my car making it impossible to go cause I don’t want to run over him!!!
I have only been able to beat him ONCE!!!
He reminds me of a horror movie… I keep thinking of the movie “The Ring” … that one part where the girl is far away… and then you turn around and she’s right there in your face lol … that’s what he reminds me of when he does that!!! It’s really like that!!! He’s so fast!!
And then he runs around my car – sometimes I can see him, sometimes I can’t
He does that to me all the time… even when I am leaving early for work!
My landlord said – oh just honk… ok so I tried that… the very first time it stunned him and worked … but only worked that one time – and when you headed off to work and your in the country trying to get to the main road on a weekend … I can’t be honking my way out lol – it’s early!!
He’s not out there ALL the time – but a lot … it’s like a challenge to leave or come home lol … Oh no! Bullet sees me lol 😮😄
I’m used to it now though … he’s fun and hilarious … but he still reminds me of “The Ring”
Ok well anyway… another beautiful day today ❤️ my forecast looks awesome until the weekend …
I get to break out all my summer stuff finally!!!! I’m still gonna wait on putting away the winter clothes though. 🤨
I suppose I have to suit up so I can go to store … just dragging my feet 😏 I’ll get there eventually.
This is what I think of this morning with going to the store lol…

Reminds me of the rhino at SD Wild Animal park that runs just ahead of the interior safari vehicles and uses its snout to try and press the button for the gate locks (double gating system… inspiration for the first Jurassic Park movie’s dinosaur gates). The park guides wait & wait & wait. So does the rhino. They finally had to back up the truck, distract the rhino with apples, then rush through. On the other side of the gates, an aggressive ostrich waits to try and break through. It’s gotta be maddening for the guides, going through it several times a day. But it’s great fun for the tourists!!

Well he doesn’t try to follow me all the way to the gate, he knows boundaries – he never tries to escape just run all around my car when I am either trying to leave or come home – and he’s so tiny so you can’t see where he is and he loves harassing cars evidentially lol – that’s his thing… but he will never follow me all the way to the gate – and he waits for me if I am coming home lol … he either charges across the field or waits for me at a specific point 🤨😄
He super sweet and funny though… he just loves to chase cars

Summer can be brutal… My summer is probably similar to Australia’s. We have temps that can go as high as 115… talk about living in an oven 😮 is a “dry” heat lol … we get hot!!
Cold is good sometimes – plus I always think it keeps you young?? My theory anyway
When I’m at 115 I’m gonna be wishing for your cold lol

You can’t be worse than Maine … they can go 20 to 30 below zero 😳😮 you can’t be that bad

In summer we swing between about 10c to about 20c. We can somedays go to 25c. We seem to get one spell a year (for the last few years) where we can edge to 30c. But also don’t rule out going below 10c.

Oh wow! I was not aware! So even summer doesn’t really heat up much… the 70’s and 80’s sound like be beautiful there (or aka 25/30c – Lol I had to google that) below 50 in summer just sounds wrong lol (10c)
San Francisco kinda like that. But they can have a stretch of 80’s and 90’s sometimes in summer, they mainly stay 70 to 80 in summer (? Celsius is weird to me lol) They sit right on the coast so they never really heat up like we do inland.
But that’s interesting! It’s nice not to melt when going outside lol… I do like summer heat because I love my summer clothes … or lack there of lol kidding 😄✌️ (but it gets hot lol) … I have noticed now that I’m aging – I don’t really like temp extremes as much lol … our 115 can be a bit much (45c?)
