It is NOT my birthday month… but I have a funny birthday month story…
Alright … so my mother’s due date with me was July 4th… which here in America is called Independence Day… they day we celebrate our separation from British rule and became our own nation. July 4, 1776 🇺🇸
So she was supposed to have me on July 4th… BUT the only time ever in my life I was late!! Instead I came on the 7th…
My birthday is 7-7-72… I always tease and say it because I’m the jackpot 🎰 with all those 7’s … 7 is my favorite number
Anyway… all my life – I claimed that July 4th celebration as my own lol 😄😄😄
My story is that… my mother was due on July 4th… but I was late – came on the 7th… it was too late to change the celebration so we just start my birthday on the 4th and then I own the rest of July 😄😄✌️
I’m sorry that just delights me even in my own mind 😄❤️ dont really care what anyone else thinks with that – I do that for the delight it gives me…
So while raising my kids … I told them MY version of the Fourth of July … 😄😄
The boys at first thought it was true – until school lol – but even then they played along with my little shenanigans lol ❤️
My daughter however – is like a little lawyer 🤨😄… so she initially was skeptical of my story – cause why just for me lol … well that’s just how it is – don’t question lol
She continued questioning me on it… and then one day argued … the Fourth of July is not for you… it is the celebration of independence!!
So my reply was… yes dear… my independence from my mothers womb 😄😄❤️ (I am brilliant sometimes lol)
She does not like my story – or my reasoning lol … I get the 7th thats it lol … I still take July 4th- and take the rest of the month – nothing overly special … but I just can do whatever I want all month long lol – free pass for whatever lol ✌️ I just like that
My daughter is very strong little lady… she wants it as it is. No bullshit lol
I like a little bit of dreams mixed in so anyway … still claiming

My sister was a July 4 baby. Ironically, she HATED fireworks… even little sparklers.

Oh I LOVE the fireworks 💥 Oh my god! I have never missed!! Ever!! Probably this year I will though? 🤨 … or if they still set them off – I will watch from a distance… but that’s ok too… I won’t have to deal with the crowds and traffic lol ✌️
Back East we used to have the BEST sparklers ever – metal ones – they were awesome – not like these puny wooden California ones …
However in Massachusetts where is lush and not fire tinder … fireworks were illegal… New Hampshire it was ok… so people in Mass would just drive to New Hampshire – get the fireworks and do it lol
California – the tinder box… it legal!!!! Except for the ones that go up in the air… however people here just drive to what is it? Washington or Oregon? And they get their illegals … Come back down to California and light that shit off lol
Some neighborhoods you don’t even need to leave to see a good show!!! One side of the city will set off their illegals … the police race off over there … then the other side goes off and so ya know – nothing they can do lol
It’s just funny that the tinder box allows fireworks … Massachusetts you get sparklers and snakes only lol (snakes are those little dots that you light on the ground and the ash comes up around like it’s a snake – not sure if everyone calls them snakes – California has different words sometimes)

Fireworks, even sparklers, are illegal on most of SoCal. But it’s easy to find a city that still allows them, or buy from ice cream trucks selling extra-illegal fireworks from Mexico.

I was not aware the Queen got 2 birthdays 😮 but I also don’t follow the royal family too much, unless they make big waves and it’s plastered everywhere lol ✌️
But I still think a whole month is better… I have it better than the Queen lol – oohhh that’s kinda delightful!! Not that it means anything but I take the whole month and she gets 2 days? I’ll take the whole month lol
