Alright, whew… just handled all the bills… still surviving. I have one more big bill to pay – which will be fine… I pay that on the 10th… but I will have to go to bank to pull out. Ok so I will push that off until the 10th. Bleh – I don’t wanna go to the bank and touch stuff lol… but whatever
I have sun ☀️ I might take a people free adventure. I want it to warm up a little so I can put on my bathing suit and maybe get some sun too!! A few days ago I went outside and Oh my god! I’m really white!! Bleh!!! Like Casper white!! My freckles aren’t even helping me out!!
So yeah I wanna put on my bathing suit and get sun!!! But it may not be warm enough…
Ohh I just checked the app… yeah that’s not gonna happen… only 60 for the high. I need 70 or above lol ✌️
One of my neighbors keeps telling me the rattlers are out… has just seen a lot of baby ones – so I will have to be careful if I take an adventure.
I feel like I can breath a little easier now that I have all the bills handled. I also had to pay the vehicle registration which is due next month but you have to pay early so you get your sticker 🤨
When I was paying that… there is an option to do non-op lol… which means non operational… you have the vehicle but are not using it … was way cheaper and for just one moment I was like 🤔 hmm lol…
But no… I went and paid the whole thing because I will still need here and there and then eventually. But I wanted to click that non op button lol
I think the DMV is closed anyway (Department of Motor Vehicles) … that’s what they call it out here…
In Massachusetts they call it the RMV (Registry of Motor Vehicles)
Anyway… not sure when I will get sticker – but it’s paid so at least there be record of that.
Luckily I did NOT have to smog this year!! Woo hoo!! I hate hate hate having to smog!!!
California has this thing where they want your vehicle “smogged” – they check your emissions to make sure your vehicle is not polluting
But they don’t check anything else – so you can drive a death trap and they don’t care – as long as you don’t pollute! Lol
In Massachusetts – every year they make you get an inspection sticker (or at least they used to when I lived over there, it’s been awhile)
But with the inspection sticker they check everything!! The whole engine – everything … no death traps there lol … but they don’t smog or check if you polluting lol
Whatever every state is different.
I am just happy NOT to have to smog this year!!! I did that last year and it’s every 2 years. So thank god!! Yay!!! Bonus!!
Alright I do have to do few things and then possible adventure if I am feeling brave enough to handle some rattlers – am I tough enough? Not sure lol we see ✌️
Most is handled so doing good. So far … we see how next month is. Right now I’m staying alive lol ✌️
Learning Life 
Our is called DMV here too but Maryland has something different. I don’t like inspection either. I had mine done during January and they failed me twice for not having the day time light working. It was the same car I have been driving the last three years. They didn’t say anything before. Some people disable the daytime light on purpose. Yup mine hadn’t been working since I got the car. Yes they don’t care about it being a death trap, but whether one of my lights – and it was not even useful here in VA, because daytime running light is for people driving in Canada or the Pole where they have night all the time in winter. I had to fix it. I wrote a blog on the frustration I had getting that done. I brought the five dollars light bulb from China! That fixed it. Otherwise it would have costed me $100 or more to rewire my car to have that working.
Luckily my emission/smog test now can be tested online!! weird. They said I drove passed their checkpoints on the highway during my commute awhile ago and it tested fine as long as I go to the website and pay them. They would send the data to DMV. I did that two couple years ago too – all virtual, no need to go to the DMV. My smog won’t expire until June. I paid the website people already back in Feb. Hopefully it is not a scam.

Yeah – I remember those inspections!! So happy don’t have to do those anymore out here!! They are very frustrating and if you pass on the first time – you either have a new car or you are lucky lol
Oh wow!! Nice one! Glad the $5 bulb worked for you… I just had to have my headlight replaced cause it burnt out.. did the same thing – ordered online and then I have a guy for that lol 😄… my girlfriends husband helps me with that stuff
I wish we could do smog like that!! I don’t quite understand how that works? Drive over a check point and pay online – that sounds amazing – yes please I would like that!! Lol
I paid my registration right online through the CA DMV website. Wicked easy and quick!!
In my initial paperwork for the registration they tucked in a flyer for getting a REAL ID 🤨 … I just re-did my license last year… and now I gotta go do that?
The flyer says…
Starting October 1st, 2020, you will need a REAL ID, valid passport, or other federally approved form of ID to travel by plane within the United States or to access federal facilities and/or military bases.
If you do not decide to get a REAL ID, your California drivers license or identification card will display the phrase “Federal Limits Apply” while a REAL ID will display the California Bear with the star (the state symbol)
🤨 fricken hassle – I’ll just get the REAL ID… you actually have to GO IN – but then I don’t have to deal with it or have any issues.
That’s here for California … but I think every state wanting that REAL ID?
The DMV is closed at this moment here – you can’t do nothin!!! I guess they are non-essential? Lol

Real ID is a federal thing. I have a passport, no DMV appts were avail before my license had to be renewed, and I don’t have plans to fly within the US… so I didn’t bother.

Well I do fly around the United States 🤨… not alot… but I have family in Texas, Maine and Massachusetts.
And sometimes I do girl weekends with a few of my girlfriends like maybe once or twice a year.
Occasionally it’s very spontaneous too. Not because of me lol… I am more of an advanced planner – but it is my people who are spontaneous lol
So just be easier for me to have than to deal with the hassle. I do not have a passport.
My friends all get so mad at me cause I dunno if is because I was with police so long or not… but every single time we fly… they pull me and only me out of the line and let me go right through lol… I have some sort of clearance but I was not aware of that … it’s funny though cause I go right through – I don’t have to take off anything or go through anything… and they all do 😄😄 no idea why… I don’t ask

That’s AWESOME!! I got that treatment when I flew to Costa Rica and was soooooo confused!! I think mine was only because it was 5:20am!!
I’ll eventually apply for real ID but I’m not gonna stress about it.

We finally got “real” rain at 11pm last night. I was thrilled… till it stopped 30 min later! There must have been more in the morning, while I was sleeping but there’s been none since I woke up. The clouds look pretty thin. I’m disappointed!!
Watch out for those baby rattlers! I’ve heard they’re more dangerous because they haven’t learned to control the amount of venom to release.
Dunno if you have AAA but when the world isn’t locked down they can issue car registration tags immediately.

It started raining again here… off and on. I keep getting teased by the sun even when is raining lol
Yes I watch very carefully for those rattlers 😳… makes bugs seem like nothin lol … but yes I am very watchful – they also don’t warn you either cause they haven’t developed their rattles yet 😳
Well I have AAA but only have the towing and car assistance part – not the insurance.
That’s ok though… it’s paid and I have the receipt 🧾 and was done online so if they run my tags – it will show paid… I think they will probably give leeway with all this happening anyway.

You don’t need AAA insurance to use their dmv services!! They can do almost everything except issue licenses! I use them to get my handicap placards (doctor has to give me a form). The also have a ton of travel services. And I happened to find out about an offer to etch my car’s VIN# on my windows for free (normally $200-600)… it’s supposed to reduce the chance of theft.
Newest update is for rain tomorrow. But yesterday they said today so….
