When I was little, my mom always tucked me into bed… but I was also one of those kids who would sneak outta bed and wanna be up lol…
I would get ONE tuck in… then I had to do myself 😳 I still did it though lol
Ok… so how do you shut the light off and not have something grab you from under the bed lol… I used to set up like a runner … ok … ready… set… go
And I would smack the light switch off… then run and sprint into bed like I was jumping hurdles lol
I also used to pile stuffed animals on all sides of my bed so that if anything reached up, I would be protected by my army of stuffed animals lol … yes this is why I had many stuffed animals 😄
In the morning when I would wake… sometimes some of them had fallen off … ahhh see!!! Yet they kept me safe all night long ❤️ protected lol
I think I need more stuffed animals lol … for in my bed possibly around the house lol 😄✌️ … I don’t have any protection lol
My coyotes are not sleeping tonight … maybe the lion … but not the coyotes 🤨😄✌️ (we don’t have lions here btw lol – I would need several truckloads of stuffed animals for that)
Cooked and have the meals all ready for the week… so I don’t have to do that all week long. I don’t even have to think, it will just be … whoomp there it is 😄❤️

I have a girlfriend who 🤔… well it was hard for her to fit in sometimes … she was having a really hard time with some stuff… other girls were making it hard on her…
So whatever … I don’t care about any of that… none of it made any matter to me. I wanted her to just be free for herself – not care about the judgement of others… Just come let go and have fun with me ❤️
So we did… oh she was so fun – we had the best times!!! Lol
You know that one friend who just makes you laugh forever? That was her ❤️ she lives back East. I still have her… I just don’t get to see her – she’s one of those people you can just pick right up where you left off.

We just had amazing funny times… we would get all crazy dressed up and then just hit the town to have fun. We just danced or did karaoke and laughed – those were the days ❤️ we were like a girl whirlwind ❤️
I always have fun though so ya know whatever – but I love those memories and I miss her. I might still like stupid stuff lol… I just like to laugh…
I have a few friends like that… that I just laugh all the time with or just enjoy time with.
But anyway… after cooking, it was so nice out I went to lay out again… but a neighbor stopped over and we chatted for a little while – she’s lonely and bored.
After we chatted I came inside – my house was hot from cooking so just changed into a tank top and was gonna watch a movie or something.
But she kept coming back over, aww she’s really lonely… so put pants back on lol and went back outside and we went for a walk… we keep distance even though we have all been isolating completely – except needed store runs which don’t happen often. Just when desperate.
There’s an old falling apart house not too far so went went and walked through checking it out. I love that stuff. You try to imagine – was fun
So I got to cook, have sun, distantly socialized lol, had dinner and here I am in my little tank top relaxing ❤️ I have a perma-smile from today … it’s still there ❤️
Not much going on, but was nice day.

Today I’m just cooking. To set up for the week. I love cooking … my favorite is baking though… I first learned to cook with desserts… that’s my specialty lol … where I shine
When I was a little girl, I got an easy bake oven… right away I made everything lol… then I had no more little packets to make… and my mom wasn’t gonna keep buying the little packets for me to zip through lol
So… I would do myself. My mom used to have a huge cookbook… so I read at an early age… I was reading really early … by age 5, I was reading books like Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory.
That was probably because of the cookbooks… well that, and my parents used to try to speak by spelling everything so I wouldn’t know what they were talking about… but I am always curious lol so I learned early how to sound out… and then reading was easy.
The first word I ever learned was C… A… N… D… Y 😄😄😄 they spelled that one constantly 😄😄😄 …until one day I said “yes I would like some candy” 😄✌️… I still remember their reaction when I said that lol 😄 I was maybe 3? The gig was up at that point lol
But anyway, I used to go through my moms cookbooks constantly!! I would sit there for hours looking through the recipes and then figuring out how to do them in an easy bake oven 😄😄 sometimes I made a mess lol
But desserts are my thing, the more incredible I can make it – the more delighted I am.
My mom was a general cook. No one ever taught her to cook so I would just say she was a general cook. She cooked really well, but we had a typical American meals – like we would have Tacos but “Old El Paso” with minute rice lol… and she would make my favorite “American Chop Suey” which is just a cheap easy meal that makes alot… and then spaghetti with meatballs… pizza… we always made our own pizza and that was always Friday nights … I always loved pizza night ❤️… Friday’s are awesome lol… I was born on a Friday ❤️😄✌️ funny huh?
She would also make hamburgers and hot dogs, we also would have steak 🥩… she would make French fries for us kids and baked potatoes for her and my dad. Always with a salad and milk… ugh I hated milk … she’d make me sit there until I drank my milk 😝 now milk doesn’t like me either lol – feeling is mutual lol ✌️
She used to do chicken or pork chops too… she did do an amazing lasagne
Anyway she was just a general cook. Nothing crazy special… just typical American food
She grew up in a difficult childhood and her parents were not the greatest. My mom is though ❤️🥰❤️
I was a picky eater …I don’t like fat 😝… I will not eat gristle 😝 even still … bleh!! I also like my stuff cooked lol… if I see pink – I won’t eat it – so there is that
They said you have to eat what you given or is disrespectful … oh my gosh… I don’t mean any disrespect ever – but there is no way!!! I don’t think you could even pay me for that!!! There is no price tag to make me try that lol… I just can’t 😝😝😝
Anyway… I am a Irish and Lithuanian American… so I used to sit in the kitchen and watch my Lithuanian grandmother cook. I had a little red stool that sat me up real high so I could watch her. I used to be glued to her.
Not a big fan of either Irish or Lithuanian food – sorry lol – might be my heritage, but isn’t my tastes… but I remember them, and I remember how to cook them… but I like Italian or Spanish the best. (Spanish being broad)
Irish food umm 😝😝😝 so sorry!! Is bland to me… Show me the light then, teach me something that I might love – so far no – maybe potatoes lol 😄✌️ … seriously if you know an Irish dish that might change my mind – show me
Lithuanian is umm just not my thing. Is ok… but I dunno ? Again teach me then. Show me
I like to be excited by tastes. I like spicy yes… but not crazy
I like to take recipes and see what I can do with them. If I find one I don’t know – if it is not perfect… I will keep trying until I have it exactly as I want it. And then I write that down so I don’t forget.
I also have an aunt who is Italian … when I would stay at her house – I would just watch her cook… she had this Italian grandmother who lived here too.. Oh my god! Amazing cook!! Her Cannoli’s were just Oh my god! ❤️
My mother in law is Spanish … not Mexican – I said Spanish … don’t mistake them. They are completely different – she taught me a lot too. I love Spanish food as well. I can do that really well.
For holidays … Easter – I do ham… Thanksgiving is Turkey… Christmas is many things – turkey, ham, lasagne
New Years … I make all my own Chinese food. Which I have learned how to do really well too! Better than restaurants – which kinda sucks … because you go to the restaurant to eat and then realize you coulda done better at home lol
I had no one to watch for the Chinese food… but I wanted that – so I perfected that… I just kept trying, over and over until I had it just right
Anyway … so I absorbed all of that… I am a pretty good cook… well for my tastes lol … I like to do impressive… but my real thing is desserts. I can knock you socks off with desserts
I don’t get to do them as often as I would love to. People sometimes complain I am making them fat 😄😄✌️
I am just so exhausted… I came home and immediate stripped down … or tried to… what looks like a really awesome Elvira shirt actually isn’t that awesome lol …
First it’s all hot omg … the lace goes up into a turtleneck … bad bad bad idea!!
Secondly… it has buttons in the back… not snaps… not normal buttons… but small little black buttons with little black loops to fit each button in… so when you are trying to take off as fast as humanly possible – well that doesn’t work 🤨 it felt like an SNL skit trying to get undressed 🤨
Oh my god! Ok that’s gonna be for little chillier weather. I could not get undressed fast!!!!! Oh my god! I was like fighting with my clothes!!!!! I am not doing that again until fall!! If at all!!

I will start bringing summer clothes to change into for ride home – it’s hot enough at this point, I’m in the car for too long to be in all black!!! … you would think lace would be airy right?? It’s not actually. 🤨

There was a new mailman today… he did not ring my bell 🤨… my normal one will look and see the bench by the door… if I have a package he rings … I have a package – no ring and this one shoves ALL the mail in slot! It doesn’t normally go in the slot like that and there’s a lot that he pushed and forced through. That one sucks!! Where’s my normal one??
