I am preparing the house – Decorating… then I have to pick up cake which I ordered and paid for last week

My thoughts went to both my love of chocolate and whenever you do vanilla – even if these people say they love vanilla 🤨 I have tons of vanilla cake left which I don’t like lol – I tolerate lol … so no more vanilla ones lol
So he ask me on everything … what kinda cake? Chocolate
What kinda frosting? …mostly chocolate but you are allowed to do white for the design

He kept laughing everytime he ask me cause was all just chocolate chocolate chocolate

That was before I was born but I remember that commercial running through most of the 1970’s… I loved that one – it was so peaceful and nice lol … no I do not sing that while thinking of Coke lol – I just remember it ❤️ was a sweet peaceful commercial with a song ❤️
And this commercial, still makes my heart pump ❤️ he was king during this time period!
Oh I just love that commercial ❤️ how funny to see again and you just flash back!!
This next one was also brilliant … everyone knew those words and that commercial!!! I always think of that when I pass the baloney 😄 I sang it once and my daughter gave me the side eye lol

I just add this next one cause I have a thing for the Doughboy ❤️ my mom’s dad – I called him Grampa… he had one… and it would squeak when you squeezed his belly ❤️ I loved that sooo much!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ he died before 2000 (is a sad story so let’s stay away from that one right now) but I love the Doughboy because of him ❤️

Tomorrow, May 8th… is my oldest sons birthday… the one that made me a mother… and on the year he was born… May 8th fell on Mother’s Day ❤️ … he made me a mother on Mother’s Day ❤️❤️❤️ … that Mother’s Day gift that year – pretty much unbeatable! Best gift I ever received ❤️
His birthday will only fall on Mother’s Day every 6 to 11 years. So it’s not on Mother’s Day every year… the next time that will occur will be May 8, 2022
Also tmrw is Friday ❤️❤️❤️ and we all know I love Friday’s lol ✌️😄 Friday family day ❤️ funny stuff (or unfunny stuff 🤨) and games ❤️ woo hoo!!
And then since Mother’s Day is Sunday … and since he was my very first gift… we probably celebrate it Friday with all our other celebrations ❤️

This is gonna be so awesome tmrw ❤️ and awww my first baby getting so old… I have loved every moment of being his mother ❤️ (all 3, but he has a special spot cause he was the first?) they all special with something … for him he made me a mother ❤️
When he was a newborn – I made him listen to classical music lol … now he has a music ear – right away…
When he was a toddler – I would dance big band with him … and twirl him through my legs 😄😄 oh he used to squeal with delight and laugh so much!!
There was a little girl (same age) next door that had this toy 😄😄 … it was some kinda bird with a really long neck… you hold it by the neck and shake it and it makes a noise (which I could demonstrate if you were here but you’re not lol ✌️) it was a really funny toy …
But for some reason it terrified him 😄😄😄 so we hid it when they playing, so he wouldn’t be scared lol – was funny
We had oodles of match box cars 🤨😄 cases upon cases of them lol and then he would line all the baseboards with his cars lol …
He used to make me play that all the time – as in CONSTANTLY lol … huh wonder where that comes from lol ✌️❤️
He was always a great kid… never any issues … he was always there – I grew up with him ❤️ incredible man!
I remember in school he wanted to ride his bike to school with a whole bunch of friends 😮😳
What??? You don’t want your mom to bring you to school? 😮😄 (we do not have school busses for our district – dumb but whatever)
But he wanted me to let go a little bit 😮😱 that was like 4th grade… Oh my god! I can’t let you go!! Lol … but I did…
He had a little group who all rode their bikes to school… we did some test runs to make sure he could handle lol – so mom is at ease lol ✌️
There were rules… do not talk to strangers, watch out for cars, follow road rules (and yes you better believe I went over bike safety lol 😄✌️) made him wear helmet.
That first day letting him go… I wanted to jump in the car and stake them out lol 😄😄… I did not… I let him begin to grow. Hardest moment ever!! Can I just keep you in a locket? I want you forever lol
He was the first I had to explain the birds and the bees too… ok well I am not shy “teaching” stuff – but I tend to be educational lol… so I had books. 😄😄 I don’t know how you men do in the beginning – I didn’t pay attention or wanna know with my brother lol… so yeah I had books lol
He did well with my talks. Was never difficult with him… the second son was mortified discussing with me … and the girl is not happy with all the women things currently we have going on 😳… that will be a whole other post cause that’s currently happening 😳
Back to my oldest… The very first girl who broke his heart – yeah I wanted to have some words with the little lol… just kidding I didn’t do that either … but how dare she hurt the best kid ever!! My little boy!!
He would bring home girls for me to meet and then after ask me what I thought of them lol…
Ooohhh you want my opinion… umm I had some choices on those… I didn’t want to push him towards or away – he needed to figure that out… I did give him opinions but kept them mostly neutral
He picked some pretty crazy ones before he found a really awesome one… they didn’t work out but she is like a daughter to me and she is still very close to both of us… don’t tell him – but I want him with her lol – pick her!!! Lol let me bop you over the head – she’s the one!! I’m kidding… I do like her though a lot ❤️ I would love her to be my daughter in law but that won’t happen.
He will find one that is meant for him. He better pick good though – let me like her 🙏
I do just want him always happy.
He is a music major… his dream was to work in a symphony or for a major studio like Disney/Pixar doing the soundtracks
He is a YouTube’er 🙄😄 he does good and has a good following – he does games – they send him prereleases and he records his play.. he also plays games he loves – he does good.
He had a good job before corona – but lost that because of corona – he will have to see what to do after all this.
I’m very proud of him ❤️ he is caring and compassionate, kind and funny, pfftt he is MY son – he is amazing ❤️ I would do it all again – loved every moment!!
Can not wait for tmrw ❤️ my triple play day ❤️❤️❤️ woo hoo!!!
Ok so I have to jump in shower. We are walking shortly – she say 8am but I have to do a few things first… so maybe more like 8:30am?
I love the walks – very very much… but I am getting kind of burnt … I wear lotion… I wear like SPF 1000!! But ya know… Irish skin 🤨 and the sun is not kind sometimes lol …
I can NOT wear more clothing because it is way too hot – that is not happening – you are lucky with what I wear lol … it’s a work out – we have pretty massive hills to climb lol … uphill walking out… downhill coming home.
She wanted to switch our walks the other day lol… I looked at her and then looked at the 2 paths… 🤨😄
Our normal one is the uphill to begin, and downhill coming home …
The new path she wanted was downhill first, uphill on return… 🤨😄 … ummm are you able to carry me? Lol kidding
I just don’t want to be all worked out with walking, only to have to go uphill to get home … no… I like to slide into home… not climb to it lol ✌️
So we keep our normal walk lol
Give me hard at first – then I like it easy to end with? I don’t wanna be all easy at first, and hard af at the end lol … yeah no I don’t like that lol

I just loved that movie, it reminded me of our vacations … although my dad would have checked and made sure everything be open lol

Well let me tell you!! It got to half way through that movie and then he kept making me cry! And he was done after that … don’t bait and switch me. Was supposed to be funny – if I had known I would cry – I would not have seen that!!

Country is not typically a music I turn to? Lol … is not a huge realm with my music lol – I do have some beloved songs…
So I’ll pick these cause these remind me of actual good county- when there were classics ✌️ yeah – I am a harsh critic lol – not a fan of the new stuff usually… not a country music person unless you go old school ✌️ or if sparks me
Country is hard to me… one of my friends says “how do you not like country? It seems perfect for you, stories and love stories and softness” yeah no… it’s just not my thing… you have to grab me with music… country doesn’t do that for me??? There are exceptions but not usually
I always challenge my friends – if you want me to like something – find a way to grab me with it – show me amazing lol ✌️😄 they try lol ❤️ sometimes they hit it… sometimes not lol

I was up early today… I had a drink yesterday and don’t usually do that… just not my thing. But she wanted to celebrate so I figured, maybe we should? For life?
But I felt that one drink lol… she made it way too strong!!! So I also figured, was a good idea not to post lol ✌️
They cancelled my friends eye surgery … said due to corona not currently doing those… so his surgery gets pushed months out now… but ya know – patience …
He said … you don’t have to take me to the hospital, so you can still come over? We can have lunch?
Lol aww… well I was gonna do that for him, bring him to hosp… but I also have my daughter. If is not taking to hosp, then I would prefer a moment when when she’s not here. So maybe another time, I get to have time with her – I don’t want to give that up ✌️❤️
He was ok with that and I said maybe in 2 weeks? He was happy with that. Will be good to see him again… haven’t seen him since I got sick. I’ve talked to him – but I haven’t seen him
I MIGHT be kinda cautious because initially it’s gonna be a thing?? If you understand? I don’t want it to be a thing – but it’s gonna be a thing. Just sensitive with still. Don’t make me cry!

I noticed it yesterday ?? It’s right above my ankle. Yesterday I saw it and thought … oh is that a bruise? Cause it looked like a bruise ? It was red and I dunno? And I don’t like to touch bruises so I didn’t wanna see if it hurt – no I will pass – it’s probably a bruise?
But today? It did not turn like a bruise 🤨😮… it’s like a redness? And then I can see a whiter raised center area… so I’m gonna think that’s a bite 🤨
Dammit – it better not be bad! Luckily is on ankle area, thank you for not biting my ass!!!
Well I didn’t get to see any meteors. I did have a friend call and wake me up at 3am cause I didn’t trust the alarm and good thing because I trusted none of them lol ✌️😄
At 3am… I was half with it… stun me with a wake up and you will understand lol.. you have to make sure I am not still dreaming lol… I can speak to you, and not remember one word! 😮 so you have to keep asking me over and over if I am awake, am I doing this? Lol

When I was little, my dad always had a telescope 🔭… we would always look at the moon…
As a mom, I had a hammock in the backyard that me and all the kids used to lay on and watch the meteor showers.
We saw some really spectacular shooting star 💫 shows!! ❤️
Growing up I lived in Florida for a little while… not far from Cape Canaveral
When you live in Florida … back when I was growing up – they were all about the space program… Cape Canaveral is where the space shuttles lift off from.
We were living there in 1986 😳 when the Challenger happened
I was in school, we had gone out to the playground to watch the shuttle go up…
Well when something was wrong they shuffled us inside really quickly and we spent the rest of the day in the cafeteria with TV’s all on CNN giving play by play
My mom was a stay at home mom … so she took the video camera which was this gigantic thing lol … and video taped the whole thing from our backyard. 😮
That’s a major thing I remember growing up. Not sure what made me bring up that story but whatever

He doesn’t have anyone else who would do for him. Yeah I’ll do it. So I’ll have to be at his house at 9am… the hospital is downtown.
He said we can use his truck so I don’t waste my gas (which is cheap anyway)
