Today… I am helping my neighbor plant trees… don’t be too impressed – I still struggle with upper chest strength 💪
But I do what I can. So whatever – be doing that shortly.
I’m not sure how to dress for outside yet lol … summer clothing be too cold – so I have to dig up warm stuff 🤨😄 which I already packed away lol awesome.
Once winter goes away, I put all that stuff away! Especially by May! Lol … but ok – I’ll pull out the parka 😄 … kidding it’s not THAT cold ✌️
And no sun 🤨 … but I can be outside all day and not be burnt so that’s sort of a bonus?
Ok well, let me go get my muscle work on… like physical therapy kinda lol ✌️

It rained last night and this morning – we are overcast currently. Normally we never get rain by May … in years past, May has brutal heat building up for July and August
Our rain… starts around October/November… and rains through February/March – sometimes a late one in April … but never rain in May 😮
I wish it would rain year round… not all the time… I couldn’t live in Seattle, Washington 😮… I need my sun
But scattered through the year. It would prevent some of the wildfires in the summer…
And summer storms – they are my favorite ❤️ … we never have those here.
Is a nice break from the heat we were having … I was getting really burnt even with spf 1000 🤨😄✌️ (no they don’t make spf 1000.. I use spf 50 actually – but am also irish – so sizzle sizzle regardless 🤨) plus ya know there are always small little areas – you think you covered every spot – but no you didn’t lol maybe it could change color on my skin so I know what’s actually covered?? 🤨 there’s an idea for ya – someone should get on that 😄✌️ (that would actually help, and be kinda cool)
Today I was remembering my school kids ❤️ I have a really funny story lol Oh my god!
Alright… I have many friends of different kinds. I love them all for the things they bring to my life. ❤️ they enhance my life very much in many ways ❤️
At school… I’m very professional… mostly – sometimes I act like a kid lol 😄✌️
I have fun and I always enjoyed them ❤️ the kids are so full of life and dreams – they are funny and delightful when you get to really know them!! Brilliant amazing kids with so much potential!
I pretty much do my own thing? I don’t pay attention to social media and keep my news limited.
Sometimes I have lessons that prove I need to fix that lol… I just find peace right now doing that way. I still need it like that.
Well anyway, I’m pretty straight lined? One of my girlfriends gave me some sweat shirts last fall…
Ooooohhh some of them were so warm and cozy!!! ❤️
Well… at school we would have these special days – like sports day or pajama day… lol… I love having special days ❤️
So one day, on one of those special days… I wore one of the sweatshirts my girlfriend gave me ❤️ so fluffy warm…
I also like hiking and stuff like that… this sweatshirt said “Backwoods” 🤨… at the time I thought it was a outdoor thing 🤨… it is not!!! 😮🤨
One of my high schoolers said to me … ohhh nice sweatshirt lol … do you know what that means? 😳
Uhhh stuff to do with the backwoods? Lol … camping hiking?? In the backwoods?? Lol

They always made me laugh very much ❤️ I always loved going to work to see them.
From kindergarten to 12th… all of them were so amazing!! I miss them!!

Then they left… ok… well… I haven’t washed my car since … ummm… don’t really remember? 😄🤫✌️
So on my car was dust and pollen so thick… you weren’t really sure what color my car was lol 😮 Oh my god! … it looked like it’s been sitting in a junkyard for like 10 years …
I wasn’t really caring about that. Lol plus I only take the car out when I work… why wash? Lol … in the country it is dusty… and tons of pollen… at work in city… is city dusty 😝… and also lots of pollen.
So it was thick… add in some bird poop… and I be driving through town in my hooptie 😄😄✌️
I was sooo embarrassed lol… ok so it severely needed a car wash Oh my god! …
So I pull in with my dirty little hooptie lol…
The car wash itself was incredible!! Oh my god! Like space odyssey! 😮 … this was the first time I tried this 😮
This one moved down a track! I’ve only been to ones you just drive in and park lol
Oh yes … move me!! I like it like that!! I’m going there now!!!
When I drove out, was like having a new car… totally sparkly ✨❤️… no more hooptie lol ✌️ that place is the bomb though! Totally enjoyed the car wash lol ✌️ – I didn’t have to see anyone either – bonus!
So the downtown area in my little country town 🤨😠 … wth… what is up with all the fricken construction?! Oh my god! Down to one lane for fricken miles 🤨
So in other words… takes me an hour to get through town 🤨 normally 10 minutes 🤨
Then after my car wash – I had to get home – I didn’t want my freshly washed car getting fricken road dust all over it 🤨 I just cleaned the hooptie lol it was all sparkly…
Ok how to do this… how can I avoid downtown completely? 🤨
Ugh I had to go all the way around on the outskirts of town to get to my home … downtown is my straight shot, but I wasn’t doing that in my newly washed car 🤨… missed most of it – but pain in the ass … so that’s my gripe of the day.
Neighbor needed some help with some stuff and gave me some oranges 🍊 for helping her … she has sooooooo many fruit trees – anything you can possibly imagine!! She’s always got some kind of fruit lol
They are delicious though 🍊❤️ juicy sweet 👌
Had dinner … trying to convince someone to take a shower 🤨 how do you not want to shower? Lol I don’t get it???
When she does she uses all my lotions and perfumes and then says “mmm I smell like you” lol … ok well take a shower and do that instead of sniffing me lol
So she say 8pm… ok 45 minutes woman!!
I am really gonna suck at reading everything – I will try to catch up. Let me crack that shower whip lol … kidding … but I gotta get on her case lol ✌️
She will drag her feet like I do when we don’t wanna do things lol
So whatever … I be crackin my whip lol (kidding I don’t have a whip, I’ll just be on her case until she’s like fine ok I’ll shower lol) I be back shortly for reading ✌️

I had a very fantastic Mother’s Day ❣️… I had breakfast made for me by my daughter, the boys came, they brought flowers and had a picnic basket 🧺 with lunch and snacks they made ❤️ … my oldest even made these amazing chocolate dipped cheesecake cookies 😮🥰❤️

My oldest has always loved cards… when he was little, he used to love doing magic card tricks – Oh my god! I loved those lol… he would tell stories that went with the card tricks ❤️
Recently he’s into poker 🤨😄🙄… so we will play poker for awhile – I’m pretty good at that lol ✌️😄 … with him I’m a risk taker lol … all in buddy… you wanna challenge me or what? Lol … sometimes I might be a little competitive given the right circumstances lol
Anyway… he tells me yesterday to download this poker app… no one else will be there and I can just only play with them.
And then he lit up and said … when I come over we can play, and now we can play whenever we want lol 😐😄😄
I laughed lol … he said “why you laugh?”
Oh nothing … just a lot of poker 😄😄 is funny ❤️🥰
It is fun though ❤️
The other 2 kinda groaned to play, but once they knew how… lol … they now also like it 😄❤️
So anyway, was awesome! They left little while ago ❤️

Happy Mother’s Day again to all… I haven’t talked to my own mother yet – I have to catch her 🤨 lol
She is in a memory care facility that is closed to outside. Is assisted living.
She has her own little apartment, and about 3 or 4 really close girlfriends she has connected with. ❤️
She has a walker… she fell recently… so now she has a walker all the time
They also never run out of conversation lol… is new every time lol … the same stories are repeated several times lol
She’s oblivious to what’s going on … she just forgets … I’m almost a little jealous. How lucky to not fear, I’m glad she doesn’t realize.
Anyway… like I said… I gotta catch her 🤨
She waddles all over the place with her friends, has no cell phone, only her little apartment phone 🤨 so if she’s out – you can’t get her 🤨
I tease her about that all the time… Oh my god! How I not be able to reach you??? She giggles and teases back, what am I supposed to do? …stay in my apartment? 🤨😄 she is happy ❤️
I will catch her at some point
It’s funny… when they were my parents … they were so umm?? straight-lined? Traditional, reserved… one was dorky the other was a nerd lol
Then my dad retired 🤨… suddenly they were like 2 unsupervised teenagers 🤨😄 what the hell? Who took my parents? Who are you imposters?? 😄😄❤️
They had an amazing 4 years before my dad passed. Went crazy traveling to anywhere they desired and did alot of their bucket list stuff.
When he died we learned she had Alzheimer’s … they hid it from us 🤨
They were traditional… and my dad went through cancer for over 20 years before he beat it. My mother stood by his side completely through everything – literally. Just as he took care of and provided for her, she did for him as well.
My mom was always… joking laughing … loving … kinda goofy… maybe flaky sometimes lol ❤️ so that was always normal. (She was like an older model of me 😳)
Sometimes she would be saying something and forget, and my dad would jump in convo and finish for her … but they always did that.
Neither family or friends noticed, until my dad passed – and then my mom was front and center. 😮 Then it was all bad! Without my dad, yeah it was bad.
We believe they hid from everyone because they didn’t want to be taken apart? ☹️
My dads death was really traumatic for her… she lost her everything. It crushed her 😢
So anyway… we stepped in, had her see a doctor, and then we took control. She could no longer be alone.
We found a really nice place for her and she is happy ❤️
She is/was an incredible mother… I think I had the best? Lol ✌️❤️
When I am able to catch her 🤨 … we reminisce a lot … those convos are hilarious and she remembers. Those conversations are awesome.
She will have moments of zoning out ?? Or make statements like my dad is still alive… those are hard.
But she’s still hilarious, remembers memories ❤️
I still have her ❤️ I can still say I love you and hear her say it back!!
Here is something funny… I have a sister – we sound the same on the phone … you can not tell us apart over the phone… so my mom always used to get us mixed up…
She no longer mixes us up… she knows the voices now – odd little Alzheimer’s thing lol
She is/was a really great mom ❤️ I wish I could keep her forever
Anyway… my boys are coming over today just to be with us ❤️ yay!! ❤️❤️❤️

With the boys I went all natural… the oldest was easy – he has been my textbook easy kid… right from the git-go!!
The second was harder … he was way more over due than they thought and he was an ounce away from being 10 lbs 😮 I am tiny 😮😳… they turned him the wrong way and he swallowed tons of fluid… he had to be in the neo-natal area for a little while…
It was a little humorous because the neo-natal unit is for premies … not 10 pounders 😮 … so he looked like a butterball Turkey in there with all the teeny tiny babies lol … oh yeah mine is the big one lol …
With my daughter they asked if I wanted the epidural … I have scoliosis – not badly and you can’t tell … but I know my spine curves – I’m afraid they won’t do right … but my ex said … is the last child, try it, just do it… ok
So they put that crazy needle in my back 😮 that wasn’t too bad, I just closed my eyes and gripped the bed while they did it
Once I got comfortable in the bed, the nurse handed me a “clicker” … and gave me these instructions …
You get 3 clicks – save them for when you really need them.
Ok well I’m not the type of person you can just give vague short instructions to or I will improvise my way lol ✌️😄
So what I heard was… save ALL clicks for the crowning moment lol … and I did that 😳😮😄
Oh my god!!! Well I felt nothing from the waste down 😮 oops … they like “push” and I was like “I think I am??” lol
Best labor I ever had!! Zero pain… also paralyzed from waste down for like 3 days lol but whatever it came back fine eventually
Sometimes I have chevy chase type moments like that ?? Lol – it all works out
Being a mom and raising my kids has been the most incredible thing I have ever created and done ❤️ lucky, proud and blessed ❤️
You should also know … as a child I was sick sometimes… at 16, I lost all my blood except 1 pint, I almost died.
At 16 they told me, I would most likely never have kids. I was devastated to hear that. But I accepted it. I knew I wanted to be a mom, so I would have adopted. Either way.
But becoming a mom, was nothing short of a miracle for me, I was shocked because I did believe the doctors…
When I was little… we had Schoolhouse Rocks… they did all kinds of educational videos to teach kids and have them grasp things through music and cartoon media ❤️
I learned multiplication really early because of this
Evidentially others remember Animaniacs just as much… I was sharing with my daughter and came across this version which gives the Coronavirus numbers per country 😮 whoa
Cartoons and music are an awesome source for kids … I miss that. Love learning and mixing that into media
You don’t really see that now? Why? So much potential!! But again has to be done right and catch their attention, get stuck in their heads – but some people are brilliant and know how to do that. I wish there was a lot more of that! ✌️❤️

We had a really good time tonight… everything went really awesome. They loved the decorations and the cake, and gave him a small little present.
I started in with… “26 years ago …” 😄😄😄 (I always think of Abe Lincoln when I do that… because of his “fourscore and 7 years ago” speech lol)
To which they groaned lol… ugh here goes mom again with her years ago speech lol – I “might” do that every year, for every birthday lol ✌️… I can’t help it!

So we had dinner, then we were too full for cake right away…

I convinced them to walk with me… oldest will do anything I ask need or want – he’s just that way… the girl will go along too… the middle boy 🤨😄😄… the 18 year old… doesn’t like to do walks or hikes or things like that – what? Why? Walk where? Lol
I said just to end of driveway and back, (is a very long driveway) that way we walk off dinner and be ready for the cake… which they had not seen yet.
So we all did that and was nice – but is warm, so mosquitoes 🦟 are out 🤨… they like me and my daughter ALOT!! I always joke and say that’s because of the chocolate – sweet blood lol
We came back and had some cake 🍰 … the cake came out awesome – but 2 things lol…
I think the baker thought “pokemon cake” …ok is for a little kid 😄😄 … couldn’t be for a 26 yr old lol – so that was a little funny … maybe I should have mentioned the age range lol
And second thing … Oh my god! Way way way too much frosting 😮 where’s the cake? Lol
Makes me think of this commercial because yes they are still on my mind…
That’s how the cake was inside the frosting!! Lol was ALOT!!!
But we enjoyed the frosting cake lol … next time I think is just best if I make myself – I was trying to save myself time, take a short cut lol … next time I will do without shortcuts – ya live/ya learn 😘✌️
But it was yummy so that worked out fine-ish lol ✌️

My oldest is currently into … Mahjong 😄… and then he says he can teach us how to play with cards ♠️♣️♥️♦️🃏 ?? What? Lol
But he did, so we played that most of the night…
I forgot to mention earlier when I posted … I have this weekend off of work… they called me and said I can have the weekend for Mother’s Day ❤️🥰❤️ so I’m not working this weekend.
I told them this and the 2 boys say they come back over on Sunday then – and be with me for Mother’s Day ❤️
I kinda wish we could go somewhere? Or had somewhere to go… but not yet.
